Three Great Shows, One New Name
National Business Media Inc., Broomfield, Colo., is consolidating the names of its acclaimed trade events—The Sign & Digital Graphics Show, The Printwear Show and The Awards & Engraving Show – under a new unified name: The NBM Show.
The company says the new name is simpler and better reflects NBM’s formula of presenting opportunities from several overlapping markets in the same exhibit hall.
“One of the most popular aspects of The NBM Show is that in every city we visit, we present three vibrant, interrelated markets at one unique event,” says Laurie Thiel, NBM’s director of event sales. “For some time, we gave each show segment its own name: The Sign & Digital Graphics Show, The Printwear Show and The Awards & Engraving Show. That approach served us well for many years, but now the time seems right to simplify.”
Thiel says the name change allows NBM to unify its trade show brand but will have little effect on how the actual events are planned or executed.
“The markets served by our trade publications—Sign & Digital Graphics, Printwear and Awards & Engraving—will still have their own designated segments in the exhibit hall, in each of the host cities.”
In 2010, The NBM Show will bring buyers and sellers together in four key cities: Fort Worth, Texas, May 6 to 8; Indianapolis, June 3 to 5; Long Beach, Calif., Aug. 12 to 14; and Charlotte, N.C., Nov. 4 to 6. Each event will present an exhibit hall packed with the latest technologies and business opportunities as well as a powerful lineup of educational seminars.
